Use the web technologies to create an app for different platform. Which is used to create a Cross platform app. It’s mostly support for iOS, Android and etc..

  • Installation Processes.
  • Create a New Project.
  • Add a New Platform.
  • Build the Platform.

Installation Process.

Actually, you will add the ‘npm’. Node Package Manager (NPM) is the package manager for JavaScript. Find, share, and reuse packages of code from hundreds of thousands of developers — and assemble them in powerful new ways. In that package used to install the phonegap. So first of all, you need to install the “npm”. Below, I listed the link through you get the application Install.

Desktop Phonegap Application for Windows and Mac OX

Create a New Project

In terminal, we have to create the project like below:

$ phonegap create path/to/mysampleApp “” “My Sample App”

Check to be sure you see the following set of files and folders shown below:

config.xml      hooks      platforms     plugins      www

Add a New Platform.
In terminal, first you have to move one step forward in that required folder to get the main folder for creating a new platform.

$ cd (required project folder name)

$ phonegap platform add ios   (if you want ios platform means follow the command)

$ phonegap platform add android  (if you want android platform means follow the command)

Add Plugins

Most of the time, all plugins are added automatically. But sometime you will need to add the individual plugin. So, at the time you will follow the command.

$ phonegap plugin add com.phonegap.plugins.example

Run Platform

$ phonegap  run  android    (what type of platform do you want to just type it and run  the  following command)

Build the Platform.

$ phonegap build ios

Above command using to create and run the project. But now days, desktop app is released.  So use that app to create projects easier. Below, I share the link to discover the feature document.
